Description from Publisher:
What do Dash Lexington, Easton Wells, and Connell Murphey have in common?

They put their lives on the line each day they clock into work. That and their fierce love for the women who match them step for step.

When the studio head who produces both Dash and Easton’s shows announces auditions for a special series to highlight the E.D.G.E men’s skills, Connell and an extreme stunt man named Wade Roberts are the first stars chosen.

Their objective? Accompany Easton deep in the Amazon where he’s recently discovered the lost city of Paititi. With half the structure submerged in dangerous waters, a slew of unpredictable rainforest storms, and a nearly inaccessible location, each man will have to put aside his alpha tendencies and utilize his skills in order to survive the perils of the City of Gold.

But when an enemy from Easton’s past threatens the love of his life, she is met with the wrath of the newly formed E.D.G.E. clan, who will stop at nothing to protect the women they love.

As a big fan of this series, this was everything that I wanted it to be!

I really loved the dynamic between all of the guys (Dash, Easton, Connell, and a new guy, Wade) and the drama that they encountered was suspenseful (though a bit predictable at a point - it didn't take me to the guys' epiphany to figure out what was happening). The adventures and how they each played a part were fun and interesting, exactly what you would hope for in a book set in a remote rain forest. My favorite obstacles in this series are always the ones that feel realistic to the particular adventurer's passion, and this one does not disappoint! This group gets to deal with all elements of a rain forest, lake, and ruins... and other humans.

Seeing all the girls (Blake, Rain, and Sadie) again was also fun, though this was definitely a bromance (not without some sexy scenes with their ladies, of course). Most of the girls stay behind on this adventure, and this is told from the POV of each of the fellas. The callbacks to each guys' book were well-done and I think this would work as a standalone, though why you wouldn't want to read the individual stories, I honestly can't say. :)

Each guy had a distinct voice here too, that much more obvious when they are back-to-back. The new addition of Wade, the jokester stuntman, has me excited for the next book in the series where we get to know him more. I really adored his character and was eager for more of him within just pages of meeting him!

All in all, this was a fantastic bromance love letter to the E.D.G.E. men!
