| Awww, another wonderful Suttonville Sentinels book!!
This is definitely a very opposites-attract type of story, with a star baseball pitcher and a bit of a misfit who has a passion for fashion and sewing. Dylan was sweet and driven, and I really loved how Lucy was able to bring out more of his spontaneous side while he brought out a bit more of her "normal." The way they both were with Otis, Lucy's younger brother who loves baseball, was pretty adorable and Otis himself a really cute addition to the whole story. There is the perfect amount of sexy, sentimental and fun to this series and I love the baseball angle (I am not a baseball person, per se, but can appreciate the love of the game... and most definitely the body of a ball player!) Really nice arcs too. I really enjoyed how the story evolved, and how both of these opposites pushed each other to reach their potential and to live a bit differently (a little more carefree... and a little more structured :) ). | |||
